The team already had a physical Veralto Daily Management board. I translated its hand-drawn charts into a digital Smartsheet experience that a mostly remote team can open anywhere, update from one place, and share with leadership at a glance.

The challenge
A physical management board could not serve a remote team.
Veralto Daily Management helps teams see performance at a glance and course-correct when a metric is off track. Ott marketing had already implemented the practice with hand-drawn charts in a conference room, but more than 70% of the team no longer worked from the office.
The team needed the same operating view in a form everyone could access, with history that would remain available throughout the year and a link leadership could open when needed.

The approach
Digitize what worked, then remove the weekly upkeep.
I translated the hand-drawn charts and established Veralto structure instead of redesigning the management practice itself.
Smartsheet was already becoming part of the team’s working environment, making the dashboard easier to find and adopt.
Metric owners update one simple report each week; automated reporting carries the values into the dashboard.
High-level measures sit at the top, with clear green and red states that show whether the team is winning or needs to act.
